seniority what is left for it

when i joined the post office 22 years ago seniorty ment a lot you got the pick of the leave o/t and the best dutys on resigns.now it does not get the leave you want which is fair i think that doing it on yearly rotaion is fair to every one and o/t should not be done on seniorty allso done on hours over the year.but i do think that you should be aloud to pick your duty under seniorty there has to be some thing in the job for staying so long in it i know when you start being a leave reserver is bad but we have all done it i was a reserver for 10 years so we all have to do it and now the dutys are much more even now then what they were years ago so why are they trying to do a way with the one fair way of picking dutys left is it just away of geting peoplr to do what they want? if you can not do that duty i will put some one on it that will .what does any one else think

Seniority is still the criteria used in re-signs to pick duties,dont let anyone tell you different.

Unless you have bods covered by DDA and drivers and exPHGs who get an allowance and duties are ringfenced from a re-sign unlees they come off those duties themselves.
