Had our wtl this morning to be told theat our revision is put on hold, and that cuts will be made as nomal. a pecentage given and x amount of duties then taken out . No doubty wanting us to plot new walks and implement .What happened to pegasus etc and why no noise from the unions .

what area you in?

im in leeds and the whole process is taking far longer than it should, the office is rammed and everybody is fairly p***ed off.
im expecting something along these lines in our office best print off the doc from postman and keep it to hand.

Why no noise from the unions ?

I think we would all like an answer to this question. About time they got their arse's into gear.

I think I know what sparky is on about , a number of revsions were being planned for Wimbledon , West Wimbledon and Streatham were being planned on having an intrgrated revison but the walk seqeuncing machines due for Wimbledon and some of the other South London sites were switched to the New Hemel site and therefore there was a delay in some sites have the seqeucning machines therefore there was no point in introducing the revisions based on seqeuencing as they will not now be gettting them until the 23rd of May and will not be up and running till late June.

The national agreement provides for the revison process and in London , you are either due a walk sequencing/ methods / geo route revison or an IWT only revision. There is no other revison process and I would suggust if the manager is saying this you report it to your area reps who are very good.

our revision is on hold now. was gonna be in march now weve been told it will be at least till 2012. this is what a manager told me after a meeting they had with the big guns.
