Advice on adhoc shift payments

Can someone tell me in the case of a surplus member of staff receiving shift payments adhoc, I understand about sick and percentage payments but in the pay directive in the way forward there is no mention of bank holidays will the same principle apply as sick or should they get a shift payment for the bank holiday ? Thnx

I don't even understand the question. Nothing wrong with the post or the language its self I just don't comprehend it.

we have surplus staff (removed from duties in revision) there duty was an early (no shift payment) they were covering a duty on nights between xmas and newyear and only worked 2 days... due to 3 Bank Holidays...and they only got 2 days shift payment.Now in the pay directive in the wayforward agreement if they go sick because its an adhoc shift payment they get a percentage of allowance, but there is no mention of Bank Holidays, my question was should that person received the full weeks shift payment or as they did just two days.hope this makes sense ,thnx for reply BT
