What is the longest a walk as not gone out in your office,?
We have 1 at 4 days with bits on it not being delivered to for a week ,and lots of others at 2 days, how does this compare
to others.

we have the same! yesterday 3 walks down packets and tracked items sky high and undelivered ,mail vol seems to be really high and getting worse! great start to 2011

9 days when it snowed. We were only kept in for 3 days, but that walk is normally collapsed or done on OT so it didn't go out for another week as nobody wanted it.

bin told next cpl weeks will be heavy as hell ,overtime nightshift in etc ,ppl coming in on there holidays too ! dosent matter if its heavy as ill do my allocated hours as on my contract .I That post was good ,,,if knowone did overtime,they would need to put in extra jobs ,ne thoughts folks?

heard of one office that had 8 walks uncovered / undelivered ...think people have had a ti*full of royal fails modernisation they now don't want or cant because of fatigue do any extra... wake up MOYA

It does seem to have gone to hell from Christmas, I've never known duties not to go out but now it seems to be the norm (even more common is parts of walks not going out), I wonder how RM is going to explain it the Postconn

Shouldn't walks be rotated so if it doesn't go out one day then it WILL the next?

Not our problem i don't think i'd take kindly to being shoved on another walk i know what time i can finish so if i went on a heavier
walk then i'd be cutting off not quite what they want is it

My rural hasn't gone out for 3 days because I was moved off it to cover a town centre delivery because the walk holder was off sick. Frame is rammed full, dozens of boxes of D2D under the frame, 4 yorks of packets and tracked next to it and god knows how many trays of letters. Luckly I am off next week

The way things are going it might still be there for you when you come back . :
