The more people doing O/T the more you are doing them a favour and nothing will ever get sorted regarding putting hours back in offices. The extra money is nice but should we be bailing them out? I refuse to do O/T.

D2D into workload and longer spans were sold to us as a necessity to protect full-time jobs.
If there are masses of O/T hours out there shouldn't they also be used to protect full-time jobs?

Just a thought...

Staff are going into our office as well today, and a mate has just texted me and he's had a delivery from an office elsewhere.

Good post mate, our office runs on OT like most others, there are people doing 2 full walks and part of another in one day Even then parts of walks are staying in.

I never work OT on delivery, not even my day off anymore and I keep telling people to do the same. One of our managers was on the phone to another office a few days ago, this is exactly what he said: 'you're in the sh1t? we're all in the sh1t'

This is an office that hasn't even had a revision yet and up until a couple of months ago NEVER failed to clear.

Colleagues of mine have recently been paid DOUBLE TIME for working Sundays.
If managers are that desperate to get you in and you won't do it for less then they can probably find the money.

well just got back all i did was packets but the office still look like mess but the one good thing is that dom has said he will have to look at the dutys so lets hope he does because i wont do another sunday and would tell others not tp as well

i've been asked to work every sunday since end of nov but apologised as i would not be able to do so. last sunday i worked was dec 2008.

twats (dom & rep) wont get me in early weekdays (i start 14:00) for packets so wont come in weekends unless price is right.

After posting in this thread earlier, we actually had a delivery here this afternoon. A 1st class packet posted 10 days ago.

We have a parcel coming from China that was sent on Friday this week. In that time it's gone from China, to Korea, to Kazakhstan and is now on it's way to England with a delivery date of tomorrow from UPS.

The parcel sent via RM 1st class that took 10 days was posted less than 50 miles away. Oh dear. World Class mail? Only in their own little Courier reading f*cking bubble!
