Dear Customer,

As you signed up to receive email alerts from us, we wanted to write to you with an update on services today.

General UpdateWe are pleased to be able to say that delivery and collection of mail is taking place across all parts of the country today. There has been some localised snowfall which may have an affect on services in some parts of Wales and the Midlands today.

Keeping mail moving
We have continued to see very high volumes of mail posted after Christmas. We have therefore implemented contingency plans to keep mail moving and to ensure deliveries to customers, as quickly as possible. These include the use of additional staff in all parts of our operation working alongside managerial volunteers. We are also making extra deliveries in areas where mail volumes are particularly high including weekend deliveries (in addition to normal daily deliveries)

Well there was gonna do Sunday deliveries in our office this weekend to catch up. But the area DSM put a block on it because of the USO. So i asked what is the difference between the Sunday before Xmas when deliveries were being made and two sundays after xmas when u cant do them. p.s. there where two chances of me going in. Slim and none

The USO gives us MIN del days not a maximum.
