hey guys. i wasnt able to make it into work yesterday and today due to our childminder having problems and not being able to have him. now before xmas when we had the snow and the schools shut down, my other half had to stay at home so this time it was my turn. where do i stand on this as my 2 days off surely cant go down as sick leave so what can i expect tomorrow when i go back as my boys back at school an all is well......

Did you notify them of your problems, if you did I would imagine unpaid leave would be the route, nothing more said. If not, unauthorised (unpaid) absence, possible conduct.

Should be unpaid dependent leave to care for next of kin wife/child as long as notification was followed.
My wife has had to have the last .... well all of my daughters sickness off as she is paid and we are not, plus its not worth the questions and paper work when you return !

As long as you informed them of the situation and knew you were being off you will be fine.
You have rights to special leave,You will (should) recieve 1 days paid leave and 1 day unpaid,If i were you fight for 2 days paid,But DO NOT accept less than 1.
