Royal Mail Attendance Procedure
Hadn't been off for 298 days then got Glandular Fever -off for 21days - got a stage 3 warning then dismissed. Reason for dismissal was given as 'failure to keep to the RM attendance procedure. God, what if I died!!!

Have to ask,was you on a stage 2 before going sick.And are you appealing.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Last time off with sinusitus -10days- before going off with G/Fever. That got me a Stage 2. I lost my appeal as they count G/Fever as breaking the RM attendance procedure. They don't care. I spent 5 days in hospital.postghost wrote:Sorry to hear of your plight.

'Personally' i would of thought that if it wasn't then you have a good chance if you appeal.

Not 100% that they can officialy do it but bringing peeps in for a stage interview while on sick has been mentioned on here before.
