universal service obligation 'overruled'

we were all called to the centre of the floor this morning, and the lino told us that senior management had told them that permission had been given to overrule the 'uso' for the next few days at least, in order to get on top of the backlog. their plan being,,,for the two posties doing the new park n loop system, to leave one of the 2 duties in, and just do the one duty, then vice versa the next day. this supposedly will help us get through the backlog! they did this just before christmas during the bad weather spell we all had.....it didnt work then. thats how we ended up with all the backlog. now they,re doing it all over again and we are back to square one. ignoring the fact that this idiotic loony new system, is simply NOT working. when will they either just admit they are wrong, or revert to the 'old' way of working.

No-one is overruling anything.
Your Dom will still have to report his failure count to his boss the same way every other Dom has to.
The USO can't be overruled this way...all that Royal Mail can do is ask that the fines are waivered due to extreme operational difficulties like they did during the strikes.
Whether anyone would listen is doubtful.

not sure if i can say it on here,....but i,ll give you a clue,....sending 'unfavourable' texts to a female colleague was part of it. anyways, they had been after him for a while, and this was their 'golden' opertunity. 20 years doon the swannee.

the extreme op/ dif is of their own making. so they wouldnt get any joy there. as for the dom reporting the failures, apparently he isnt. this is why they(senior management) think its working. anyways, thats the bullshit they spun to us this morning. i hope it gets investigated.
