Would it be possible to have a list of offices were the revision is working and a list were it is not ? the reason being i am the rep for my D.O and am starting negotiations with the DIM and thought this would be useful info to hit im with.

One D.O in my cluster is having P and L revision but Im told they have voted against the revision proposals as they dont want it and dont think it will work.

we told them it wouldnt work but we never even got a vote or any input and the area rep agreed to bring it in ,it all went tits up and oh we havent recieved a penny to top it off.

Park and loop will never work because its based on you being able to walk at xxx speed for 4+ hours, impossible unless your superfit.

The bigger concern, is the potential for muscularskeletal injuries, from pushing yourselves so hard, for so long. Threre's a reason that Athletes tend to retire very young, compared to people with normal occupations. And that's because of the amount of stress they put their bodies under. The wise ones, quit while they're still fit. Others have to retire, due to injuries. How many 40+ top Athletes are there?

Athletes need time to recover , who does a marathon every day ? Take a look at at cycling, running magazines a lot of articles on foods, rest , drinks wickaway clothing .Believe me as a veteran who was extremely fit although I still tick over because of the job, There is nothing more frustrating in having to rest all the time ,just to do this job.

It's not only that. The finalised walks in our office don't actually look that bad, but the indoor workload isn't do-able. At present we are on an 8.15 day, after the revision it will be 7.48.

So nearly 30 mins less per day, walks that are roughly 60 mins longer than now and also return to office which is going to be another 20 mins travelling within duty time. (we currently finish on the street). That's 1hr 50 onto our working day that has to come from indoor time, when we'll have less staff and bigger walks with more mail.

The sums just don't add up, and that's in an office where the walks actually look ok.

In the last 2 weeks 2 duties have reappeared that were lost in our original November revision , so 96 hrs back in the office with hopefully more to come .

At least they are showing some acknowledgement they were wrong , which is a start . I don't want to get to carried away because with these kn*b heads my duty could come back even larger .

Now that all the disaster stories of all the P&L revisions seem to have died down.
What about all the performance issue problems that were levelled at people for failing to complete duties.
Was anybody taken down the conduct code for performance, or was it all idle threats.
