Just tracked a parcel I ordered off amazon.Its been stuck in the HDNL depot for four days(all working days).Is this a worse packet service than us.I bet the bastards leave it on the step in he rain.

Not excusing any RM incompetence BUT other delivery companies are just as bad or worse and don't get anywhere near the media stick that RM does.

Think we just get it on a grander scale cos we're a much bigger company, deliver a lot more items, therefore more problems.

My experience of HDN, they put my delivery of a very expensive dress in the recycle bin, which sits in the front garden, for all the local jakeys to see. And yes, you've guessed, no dress in bin when I got home. Needless to say I didn't order with the catalogue again until they sort that out. I can understand why they leave things in safe places, think they just need to think about their safe places.

Problem is I can't make plans to be available for delivery as HDNL doesn't tell you which day they attempt delivery. I buy lot of things from Amazon and I asked Amazon to give us an option to use Royal Mail as I work for Royal Mail, they can't do it as the computer generate delivery automatically.

It is ok as long people are in for delivery but it is hard to know when.

They took 3 weeks to deliver 1 packet from Amazon and then they just left it on the door step without even knocking.

It took hdnl 5weeks to deliver my packet...and it was plants!!! I phoned them 4 weeks in and they told me it was on the lorry ready for delivery. hmmm.
