Well it is official, now i know the job is *****ed up.

Friday had a word with postie from local office regarding a special delivery 24 hours over scheduled delivery time.
He was a kind lad but what he told me was not what i wanted to hear, he said they have to share there vans with a large distribution hub for there pm collections only thing is on friday morning they would not return the vans stating they need them more than they do.
Okay sharing is one thing but to keep them is another, they were left with 3 vans to cover 70 walks, this includes specials, tracked,bag drops and firms. DOM was fumming as you can understand but after a couple of hours of frantic calls to get the vans back the area manager insisted there return only thing was the morning was nearly over.
He also told me a revision was soon to be applied and all hell will break out.
I am an ex postie (i hear you say lucky *it) and this certainly would not have happened in my day.
So to sum it all up this s/d i am waiting for will have taken 5 days to arrive through no fault of the postie just management incompetance.
Also the postie said no packets would be delivered till the 4th.

We share with local MC and times I have struggled to get the van back in time.

And then there is the situation of leaving the van in a sh*t state, no fuel, never cleaned, no water in the screenwash and more sweet wrappers than in a tin of Quality Streets. (Oh and I wan't talking about myself ) Yes I know you are supposed to have time allowed in the duty!!!!!
