Never in 11 years have I been this sorry to be a postman. it's friday 31st dec and I am still delivering christmas cards and presents to the poor public, Royal mail will play the weather card but we all know the truth, in our office there are 42 walks and we have 16 yorks of parcels left behind today and some are postmarked well before christmas, we also left behind yorks of unsorted loose letters inc some cards but mostly flats. I am dreading next week as the overspill from this week will only compound the issue, when will we ever be straight again and no doubt the lino will try to resurect lapsing as well. sooner I'm out the better. Happy new year to you all and hope the future brings some hope. OH and we go to park and loop soon whoop-di-dooooo

The truth is out their ,witch RM and CWU want kept secret .We all know the real state of offices through out the Country ,and the reasons for the issues .

If the real truth was revealed to the General Public this would have serious implications for both ,as they both now work hand in hand for mutual benefit and survival.

RM could well take action against any whistleblowers where ever they are or how they spill the beans.
If RM is privatised no private company would tolerate the CWU.

If the CWU is so great why do they no lead by examples, let see all the CWU officials of all grades leading by example and doing theses massive walks, and this weight often in poor conditions.

Just look at the recent posts on here Aching legs ,fatigue, too knackered to celebrate new years eve, as we all know these are not conditions suffered by the MIGHTY CWU Officials ,who tell us we have never had it so good.

If the CWU was independent of RM,they would be challenging the Management over the current poor working conditions and poor service to our customers ,both the person paying for the service and the person receiving the mail at some distant date in the future.

Instead where we see the CWU we see the Management and where we see the Management we see the CWU .Now you cannot see the difference except one where’s a shirt and tie and the other where’s a RM uniform
