What is the current state of your office at present??????

Our office at present is a complete and utter shambles.

I don't wish to comment in-depth on our office because I am sensible enough to realise that, given the broad range of views and anecdotes that I have submitted to this website, they can probably identify who I am by now. However, there are certain things that are going on in our office that I do not agree with, both from a personal standpoint (in terms of looking after the staff - people are being shafted when it's their day off so I'm sure you can use your imagination to work out what MAY be occurring there) and from a professional ( ) standpoint. However, I am not a manager, nor do I have any desire to criticise the managers at 'our place'. In fact, I think the prevalence of certain practices and certain levels of incompetence ought to tell you that there is some kind of fundamental flaw further up the chain.

We haven't had our f**k-up, errr, revision, yet......so, not too bad, but still could be better.
Our f**k-up, errrr, I mean, revision, isn't due until the end of January. It's my understanding that we're to lose up to EIGHT walks.
That will f**k our office up no end.
Just waiting to be told that I'll be forced to work a minute longer on Saturday, then I, and quite a few others, will kick this Quisling union right into touch.

Even without a revision our is a disaster.....................still, as long as the managers got their Christmas bonus then everything is OK.

Office clear today apart for the few cats at each frame.

Ok at the moment, but no park and loop or sequnced mail or pegasus revisons yet.

Today was like a normal day no post Xmas lull at all, so much for falling mail volumes.

delivered flowers from 5 december and cards from same time ,specials days late ,deliverys not going for days,a shambles

My office was the only one in the area to be clear christmas eve. Now in the space of three days it has all gone to s**t and we have people in to do deliverys on sunday and bank holiday monday because its so bad.

Still got thousands of cards that have been through the machine awaiting manual sorting. Still have 1st and 2nd packets dated from the 18th Dec on trailers waiting to be sorted and I undertand there is a trailer of tracked items still to be unloaded from before christmas most of it Amazon packets. Still getting SD items dated 20th Dec showing up in the system. But first they must shift the DSA and D2D stuff out of the mail centre????

A couple of yorks of packets,sky mags and a bit of mailsort left over for Tuesday
Very heavy for a new years eve workwise but with the help of a few casuals all walks went out as is the norm.
We had 2 extra vans over xmas,it was not enough to cope with the workload(tracked parcels were mega)will need double that next year if we are to clear daily.
A combination of bad weather and high sick leave(flu)did not help the cause.We need more staff.
