several drivers to our unit have told me that the mail centre is under pressure because dsa is being treated as a priority,parcels from these firms, which they cant deliver are also being passed onto us for final delivery (all at a loss by the way}. added to this RM yorks are being used by the private companies therefore creating a shortage meaning some artics are leaving under loaded. read any press on the possibility of people not receiving mail and parcels for xmas and the only company being criticised is royal mail, could any of this be a deliberate attempt to further create ill feeling from the public and business toward royal mail,further more the statement re-5p rise in letter postage doesn't go down too well particularly since it wont be introduced until later in the new year,no doubt before the introduction of privatisation.
