Royal Mail have just announced that 14,000 extra evening deliverys will take place in N.IRELAND because of the severe weather. ?
Just thought that if its to dangerous to deliver in daylight W.T.F. is it going to be like when its dark F.F.S
What has happened to R.MAILS duty of care answer THEY DONT GIVE A FECK.

think it`s aimed at packets to help clear back log .

nothing new really as we`ve done evening deliverys for the last 10 years in our office to help clear parcels . well apart from this year as we`re upto date but this maybe due to back logs else where but hopefully not

You're right though, we have P&L coming in early next year and i've already made it very clear there is no way on earth I will deliver after dark.

Evening dark = Massive H&S issue with the potential muggings/thefts/assaults as the scrotes are out and about and not fast asleep in bed.

That's why i'm not delivering after dark and never will.

I completely agree flyer...you would have to be nuts to wander around half of these estates at night..i just wondered why pokos thought it was OK to deliver packets after dark but not OK to deliver letters.
I have absolutely no intention to deliver either after dark.

It might have been an idea to actually tell the staff instead of announcing it in the press and then having us answer the questions from the public about it. My office at the minute has 20 yorks of packets sitting that need to go out
