delivered a recorded packet dated 6thdecember today.think royal mail will use the bad weather to cover up their complete incompetence and failure to plan properly.

There is something very strange happening with regard to whether you receive mail on time or not. We have just received last weeks payslips, 1 week late. Some mail is being turned round quickly, but once it gets stuck in the backlogs which seem to be found in most MCs, national Mail Centres, then it just is not getting moved at all. Yes, you can say that some of this is due to the weather, but unless there is a mighty effort over this weekend to empty these Centres and get the mail down to the Delivery Offices then there will probably be a huge backlash from customers towards the middle of the week. Those that have been waiting several weeks for delivery of Amazon items for instance, me being one of them. I am afraid the Mrs is likely to go without her pressy on Christmas Day. Even the tracking system seems to have ground to a halt, and when it was working, this packet was supposed to have left Doncaster on 12thDec for my local DO. Emailed Royal Mail yesterday to see if I could get some information on this packet. To date no reply. I hate to say it but I can understand why the public are starting to lose patience and confidence in this shoddily run outfit.
