We had a great briefing this morning by our DUM, he said all offices were getting the same one, he said that 60% of people were working on strike days!!!...think they are counting peoples days off in that..dimwits!
He said if we wanted to work on the next strike day that they would protect us and we would be driven to other offices in plain clothes, no need for uniform!.....As you expect the there amount of takers on that offer was zero! They must think we are all stupid
Did anyone else get this b*ll*cks or was it another managers lie?

We got it exactly the way you said it, even down to the order. Is there a production line pushing out royal mail managers by the scab load.

No our acting dum never mentioned strike numbers but told us of Royal Mails plans for the future which they are going to use executive action period. If you do not like it we were told then find another job was the bottom line. As Royal Mail gets what it wants when it wants , well what can you say to that. disgracfull really just makes me more resolved to stand up for my and our futures

Yep we got this pre-prepared speach too . . . . . about a dozen of us have asked to be ferried to another office, so the dom is sorting out a van to meet us at a specified point at the crack of dawn . . . . . .obviously we won't actually turn up, I just wish I could see the look on his face when he realises he's been had
Together we stand, divided we fall
