I,m sure this has been coverered in the past, but what is the offical position on fare (bus) allocation? Is it payable to everyone regardless of transportation they use? (i.e private vehicle) I know one office that has 90% private car usage yet they still get £10 fare money per week. Is everyone entitled to this money or what?

That cant be right, you only get bus fair when you give the manager the bus ticket, I had to do it the other week and I got cash back.

We don't pay on the bus.
You show the driver your RM id and you travel free.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

we get a bus pass every April, can be used after 9am and no later than 4pm and must be in full uniform and carrying a pouch.

It's paid on the 'duty' so if the opg uses their car they have a result.
Happend at my old DO,probably still happens now as there are 'bus' duties.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
