currently i am owed 3 days of annual leave, but the only time off available according to the managers and their database is march which im not interested in. i have been hassling my manager now for months to just pay me the 3 days instead of me taking it but he nods then it just never goes on. wats the rules on getting paid annual leave? and is their ne way i can force the issue cause i really wud like the money

If you cannot come up with a suitable compromise with your manager the 3 days can be rolled through to next year.

Yeah I can't see that he can pay you mate, you could maybe ask him if you can book 3 days off after xmas and then work them as overtime, managers always used to say they shouldn't do that either but I have known it to happen when they are desperate.

I believe upto 5 days leave can be carried over into the next financial year.
