We seem to have a lot of 'stuff the docket this year' type of posts,so let's be nosey and find out who's doing what or not and why.

Ashed DIM if he was making PT up to FT for Christmas Pressure (i.e £100 bonus) he said NO! That's 3rd year running. So f**k Him! Still wants you to work all the hours god sends!

Last year didn't enjoy Christmas because I was so knackered, so thought I'd pace myself this year. Just doing enough to make a Full week up. Really enjoying it so far as we've got Dickheads coming in at 0400 and clocking out at 1600 6 days a week. They look like s**t, so good luck to them! Others (who want it) can't get any docket because these arseholes "Booked" all the Overtime. Don't worry they're on SA because they're on FT contracts.

Last Xmas did quite a bit,once got paid worked out the Hourly rate=CRAP!

Stayed out the other day,used my phone to call office,waited ages,worked out £7.00 after tax minus call charge = CRAP

Docket is great if you are one of the chosen ones who can do it in their Duty time,or get to pick their DOCKET.

For us mortals doing a walk with all the packets you have to take out ,the size of rounds etc Overtime is just not attractive.
Besides wich CWU ,RM ,AND EU all tell us most of the year O/T is not good for us ,but all of a sudden when it suits RM it is .

£7.00 a hour after tax is taking the p---- !!
Oh I almost forgot after 10 hours of O/t the rate goes down ,thats even better?

A couple of rurals said they were not going over there time saturday but were told "you'll get took off your delivery then" so they stayed out. Seems a right cheap shot by management threatening this. It must be bullying and harrassement imo or are they entitled to expect you to finish your round whatever time you finish?

sadly I am doing all the o/t I can get - I'll learn my lesson after this year though no doubt, day 5 into my 12 straight days, and I'm numb of brain.

Before I get shouted down for doing this, I really do need the extra pennies due to the mega bills I've been landed with.

f**k that the rate is s**t plus not seen 1 s/a docket in the whole office last few years all overtime in christmas pressure was s/a but not this year plus dont need it the bit ov life out side royal mail we have left is to be spent with the kids

doing 20 hours (10 hours o/t and 10 hours s/a) a week as thats the max i can do but it is enough as i'm knackered after week 1

Here at gatwick there is plenty of docket because of the bad weather and also they have just changed the letter frames from 56 selections to 12 selections because this is "world class" the day christmas pressure started. What a mess, the management have no idea what they are doing as usual. Nothing changes
