Tomorrow,as everybody is aware will be the busiest day of the Christmas pressure period.
As everybody is also aware,the mail has been held back in mailcentres,warehouses and outhouses around the country due to the crappy weather..and it's about to be set free....
Up until a couple of days ago the public have been holding back on posting due to the crappy weather.....

Sit back,relax,safe in the knowledge that finishing time comes along at the same time..and watch your management team fall apart at the seams....it should be a larf.

I've had three/four days of mail in my fitting every day for the past fortnight, so our management have obviously been testing us .

we had a serious amount of packets kept back in the office yesterday.
we refused the christmas pressure coz it was an insult.

our 1st revision was a joke
and now comes the real test.

we are gonna seriously have problems this week imo

After a week of trying to catch up from the non deliveries i imagine tomorrow will be a light day compared to the sh** been dealing with!

Our manager paid us all the £600 for implenting the new way forward. So, voluteers for overtime .

Managers were asking us if we wanted to come in today and do mail deilveries.

Screaming out for nightshift workers as well, after doing one last week and seeing the paltry amount I got paid for it they can shove it sideways!

I've seen managers nervous before SR but i've never before seen the sheer terror that i've witnessed over the last few days.
They know that we haven't had the volume of mail yet that we normally would have...and if it does appear all at once over the next few days...deliveries and processing up here will both grind to a halt because we are struggling to contain what we have and my local M/C is packed out.
I know that other mailcentres are holding mail for Edinburgh and they will need to move that on now so that they can deal with their own stuff so it should be fun and games.
