Walking pace used during park & loop Georoute calculation

Does anybody know it? Is it 4mph? We finally got some detail on the size and length of our loops today and they are laughable - I can't even achieve them walking with a pouch, never mind with a trolley.

You're wrong.

the loops are fine, easily doable, and best of all, "it's all been agreed nationaly by the CWU" , so your DOM will just keep on trying to push through these unachievable duties in the name of savings....

They really are w*****s. Your rep should be balloting you all on whether to sign off stage 4 of the Agreement. DOMs and linos and area managers (and area CWU reps FFS ) will keep imploring you to get it signed off, they'll make all sorts of threats that it'll be worse if you don't sign.

Just don't agree to it. Ours has been postponed and postponed, we've yet to see any of the threats come to fruition, i don't think they know what to do.

Correct me if iam wrong but i think the 4mph speed is there because Georoute takes every delivery point from the centre of the street and not the pavement.

However some of the geo rounds ive heard on here sound impossible to complete

geo route pegasus or what ever its called is the biggest load of sh1te software ive ever seen.

only way to do a walk is to have walk testers who do roads or blocks etc manually and then fit them together on the computer.

problem there would be the testers would probably need more than 3 cse's to cope with that
