This weeks strikes been suspended??

Post by xcessive »

Hi

Today at the MC i work at the union reps were going round handing out print offs stating that the industrial action planned this Friday (im assuming all strikes this week for all functions) are to be suspended.
Funnily enough i also had WTL&L as well today and the manager said that the CWU would only consider cancelling strikes if the new changes to be brought in were changed or gotten rid of.

Any of the above true?

Thanks in advance

The only strike i know of that has been suspended is the earlier Po counters strike, even then the one later in the week is still going ahead for now.
There is no reference to stopping this weeks strikes on the cwu web page or in the members section or in the bob section.
So untill i see it in black and white it is still on.

It was the PO's. I heard today that theyve made progress and agreed
to keep the early shift allowance after the 3 years for anyone who's been
employed for over 6 months, but no word on if our strikes have been
called off...
