Shrewsbury Clawback
Union Rep is still going along with clawback (lose half days AL or do 4 hours UNPAID OT) after Tuesdays suspension of deliveries. Glad it was my day off .Perhaps he is the only rep in the country who still thinks its National Agreement. .

Apparently they volunteer to pick which option they lose. Luckly I wasn`nt working Tuesday so it did`nt affect me but I would like it sorted out before nextime.One Rep is new to it but his collegue has got 20+ years as Rep so he should know better.

Doubt is setting in in DOMs office. He might have got wrong advice from higher up. When you get caught out blame it on someone else.

Why was the delivery suspended ? Was it due to the weather ?

We were given the option to work indoors but were also offered the half day holiday or clawback if we wanted to go home.

Oh i see. If you took the half day i wonder if you could take the option of coming in for 4 hours to prep a round and then go home

But i mean is if you went home and took half a days leave could you choose what part of the day you want to work when taking the other half. If that makes any sense

Agreeing to go home after having it clearly explained that you will owe the time back if you do..... is not the same as being sent home.
If you were offered the chance to stay and work and declined then you have....accepted the alternative...it makes it tricky...

Agreed! We weren't sent home, we were offered the opportunity! Me?
