NO NEW POST'S
The CWU website for MEMBERS has had NO NEW post's since 02/08, Why the gap in communications ? Is it because they are TALKING with RM ?
I was sure I'd seen a bead of sweat on my line manager the other day - Until I realised that he had just brushed past me too close

People at work keep asking me whats going on. If the CWU do not tell us what is going on, people will think they are being taken for a ride. It only needs one excuse, even a poor one to get the members in my office back at work. Lots of offices near us are having 18/20 strike breakers in work. The reason some are out is they feel awkward, knowing it is the correct action to take, but looking to go back. I told them talks were going on at ACAS, this gave hope, now I can not tell them anything. It make it look that RM will not give in and they will begin to believe RM lies ( because they want to)
So come on CWU tell us what is going on NOW

I just hope we do not see another Way forward agreement i am starting to have my doubts.
Dave Ward and Adam Crozier will live or die by whatever agreement comes out as both sides are so entrenched.
I know one of the lads at work spoke to Bob Gibson on friday and he did not say anything about any talks going on.

My take is they must still be talking. Otherwise, surely the CWU would have put something on their site along the lines of 'talks ended without any progress, and the strikes as announced will go ahead' ???
Maybe RM made it a condition of the talks that there is no leaking of information on their progress (or lack of progress) ??
I just pray we are not going to end up being sold down the river.
People will leave the union if that happens, and then we're all screwed rigid

If talks go ahead
I sure that the CWU said that If talks were to go ahead, BOTH sides would be treating the negotiations as PRIVATE, no release of details by either side....and that talk would conclude by 24th AUG
