Every time the newspapers report FAILING deliveries the same NEW excuse comes out, still it makes a change from "MAIL VOLUMES ARE FALLING"

i started 2 and a half years ago ..and mail volumes are certainly not dropping ..they are going thru the roof ..i would say a third higher than when i joined

I have been counting my mail ,the po say u get about 230 to a box, strange my boxes have 420 in

Mail volumes are dropping slightly i,e your average hand written letter, maybe so as people are able to send e-mails etc but the junk mail on the other hand just seems to have trebled, been in the job nearly 10 yr and i've never known it to be busier

With an empty frame and a box of sequenced mail I average about 35 items per minute and it takes me about 10 minutes per box, so that's about 350 items per box.
