Once all revisions are in place through out the uk, privitisation will happen after the summer of 2011. The government are looking for cuts and royal mail won't get any more funding from them, one of the reasons for moderisation.

Well that may cause a shift in the timetable because at the rate these revisions are going they will be nowhere complete by 2011, many places are hanging back, special circumstances, no planners, self starters...................some will still be using the same old tired excuses in 2012 let alone 2011......with some luck the ConDem coalition will be gone before they can get it finalised.cow post wrote:Once all revisions are in place through out the uk, privitisation will happen after the summer of 2011. But who will buy R/M? Everone is assumung it is or will be a done deal, I'm not so sure! Maybe in a couple of years time, we will still be Royal Mail--only with the completely new type of part time, casual labour force that is currently being put in place! Thank God I' won't be around then!

I only see doom and gloom at RM, split shifts, more mail (no wait the mail is down). More packets, 5 hours+ delivery spans(wait some people have that already).
