clarification please

Post by brunswick »

can someone please clarify the position re-weather conditions payment. today there will be no deliveries from our local delivery office due to adverse weather conditions ie snow. delivery staff who have managed to get to work have been sent home, those who couldn't get in have been told to stay at home and not risk getting stuck in the snow. the dom who has issued these instructions has told everyone concerned that if deliveries can be done as of tomorrow then if they have to go over .. any overtime will come out of the time owed for today.surely this is not the case

thankyou aprilaydee, what that suggests to me is that in order to get round this clawback just work your contracted hours for the remainder of the week, i'm sure this type of practice can only be done in the week concerned or am i wrong?

From what I remember it has to be clawed back the same week as it's "owed".

Clawback has not been agreed at all..........

You may be thinking about the 30 minute flexibility which RM will use and then you would be spot on.
