false flag conspiricy?!!

Post by daveyeff »

a lad at work mentioned this,....saying the whole way forward and total revision is, 'a false flag', it was brought in and designed to deliberately fail by royal mail. knowing that the only way out of this total mess is,..........you guessed it, privatisation. it was brought about knowing they will, and are, losing millions. the whole revision will be an absolute shambles which will lead to the eventual downfall of the royal mail, meaning privatisation is the only option. ha. its not rocket science :Very Happy

My mate believes it's a conspiracy theory designed to drive down the value of RM ready for someone to buy it! Mind you he does watch a lot of X Files! I don't believe RM management have got the necessary intelligence to organise such a scheme :hmmmm

On the flip side I suppose all you've got to do is employ a lot of Dickhead middle management, and let them have a free reign with their power crazy people skills. Same result a previously profitable and viable company going to the dogs

There's nothing more certain the company is deliberately being run down . Why would a company bring in unachievable ways of working weeks before it's busiest and most profitable period . RM profits will tumble this financial year and it wouldn't suprise me if the goverment vote on privatisation is the day after RM announce their end of year financial results . Is it just a coincidence that in the last month Postcomm announce that in the near future they are going to lift some of the restriction that have been holding RM back for ten years i.e being able to charge it's competitors ( DHL and TNT etc ) prices where RM can make a profit instead of delivering their gear at a loss . How many companies have been forced to carry out other companies business at a loss ?. Postcomm , the goverment and RM top management are all pissing in the same pot , I just wish they would make it less obvious.

a very good point, but why destroy royal mail.. before the monopoly was taken away by the government. Royal mail was making a very good profit... and us posties would not be suffering because of it........ destroying royal mail to privitise it seems to me something of a hidden agenda.... maybe its because the rich need to be richer and its,,, lets screw over the business so we politians and senior people can bank role more money.. thing is,, its no good to any of them cause they only live as long as we do the posties.... fact. there just human..

The idea at first sounds stupid and pure fiction. But when you stop and ask a number of questions, either we have the most incompetent management out or their is a ultra motive.

Most sensible people agree RM needs to change, but I think any one in my office could have brought in all round better changes than the mess we have now.

The service to the person receiving the mail,is now at a all time low,and where last year it was a question of what time will you get your mail ,now it is a question of IF AND WHEN i recive mail.

THe delivery office that serves my home is struggling through a 2 men and a van revision, now gone3 days without any mail!

It is beyond a shred of any doubt that there has been a pro-privatisation agenda within rm for years.Conspiracy or not every time something goes awry with RM in the next period will produce the calls of privatise it now.We all know it will be a crock of S*** but an ignorant public ,Parliament and press will fall for it.

I'm watching 7/7 Ripple Effect and that makes about as much as believing that RM can manufacture such a complicated conspiracy. All these conspiracy theories rely on governments/large businesses actually being able to carry these out when they can barely make a cup of coffee without massive amounts of help.

There is no conspiracy theory...just genuine incompetence at all levels.
The agreement wasn't planned to fail...it just wasn't very well planned by either party.
There is a pro-privatisation agenda in Goverment...that's obvious because they intend to privatise us.

The RM pension deficit is 8 billion and the goverment just want to get shut of it and will go to any lengths to achieve this . RM could be a highly successful company under public ownership if the shackles of the 8 billion pension deficit were to be dealt with by the goverment but all they have is blinkered vision for privatisation .Remember back in the eighties the goverment of the day also closed profitable coal mines because of an hidden agenda

So what have we got to support a conspiricy for privatisation .

1. Postcomm set up - RM forced to carry out other companies business at a loss for 10 years .
2. Incompetent management installed after incompetent management after icompetent management .
3. Modernisation - Unachievable work loads applied weeks before the busiest and most profitable time for RM. Were they hoping for strikes . Strikes haven't materialized so revision starts to get cancelled all over the uk .
4. Underinvestment for God knows how long .

Some of the above maybe pure fantasy but it's better than watching Eastenders .
