Wages and non delivery due to weather

Just some quick questions.

If you can't make it to work due to snow, and don't live near an alternative office, do you still get paid?

If you turn up, do work (say prepping) for two hours then get sent home, do you get your full days pay?

Please tell me there is some consistancy here, and your wage doesn't depend upon the whims of a manager?!

Depends on the DOM according to their policy document but you may have to give up leave to get paid.

Yes but watch out for the claw back which is mentioned in the 1st link above

Image I do admire you in looking for consistency in RM but sadly reality always lets you down.

What springs to mind is that the work is still there so on return there are going to be 'hours' available to clear the backlog?
