anybody had a pedometer on if so how far how much distance are they expecting us to do?

did it on the one on my phone one day did 15724 steps just on my delivery and it wasn't even busy!

Ive pedometer mine plenty of times. It varies from 19500 steps on an easy sat to 22500 on a shite weekday. My stride is around 50cm so on ave its about 10km. The gov recomended step count to stay fit is just 10000 a day

Only time I ever used a pedometer I got a reading of 23,500. No wonder I now walk like Clive Dunn's "Grandad".

Before the revision, I used a GPS route recorder to measure the length of my walk, and it was approx seven miles, it is most likely much longer now.
