As title. Anybody had this done yet? We,ve got a DOM from another office planning this for our place now. Anything to watch out for?

That your A+ is bang up to date.....
What about that farm and this farm and this used to be a barn but now it's 3 steadings..etc.
You would be surprised how many drops you pick up without it ever making it to the A+ system.

It wont matter what you throw into the equation. The results will be a totally unrealistic duty ,which will take you an hour longer than what you can do it in.

I hope they georoute our office rural because he is the laziest,useless waste of space i've ever worked with and because he has seniority he never get's put on a real walk. HE REALLY IS A USELESS BASR@RD (rant over)

I did the union trainig on pegasus a few years ago, and at that time we were advised that the rurals were shown up to be bigger on pegasus than the time staff were allocated to deliver them. Asked the Dom a few days later if we would be runnig the rurals through pegasus...."not neccaceraliy" he said.
Don't worry they have fixed the problem, they are all now to light and need more calls added.

All revision walks I've seen are totally unrealistic.

Try them for few days then cut off !!

It's pretty good. I do it. I'm the DOM support. I'm very cynical about the whole issue. There are just too many variables on a rural drive. BTW we have one of the largest areas in the country to cover so we are 80% rural.

To be honest i think that Georoute is not too bad on rurals. It always comes up a little short for some reason but is better than some town deliveries, who get raped by it. As long as everything is sequenced and posistion correctly thats the best you can hope for

Watch out for any blocks of flats in your area and make sure they are classified correctly as Conversion and Complexes etc as that makes a fair difference in Geo.
