Given the overriding objective to slash budgets throughout December,
I can see this being one of the most unpleasant in recent memory.

Our arrangements are pretty much the same as last year which went fairly well barring a day or 2.

In our office it seems like a game of poker as to who will fold first. We've been told that if we cut off, the mail will remain in the frame until the next day and then we will need to start our delivery from the point where we finished the day before and so on and so on.

Quality of service is being completely ignored in preference to hitting budgets. I can see tempers getting frayed and a lot of extra stress being created. The public won't understand (and why should they?) but they will want to know why they haven't received any mail the previous day. Things could get ugly.

snapping at each other through excessive hrs worked
me i ask what ot rate is time was you could actually work for a fair ot rate but not anymore
rem time and half , double time , double time and half plus day in lew, fcuk their ot for single rate its not worth it
