Happy customer - not!

Post by Thunderthighs »

Had a woman come in to pay for an underpaid card. She wasn't happy that I couldn't change a £20 note for a £1.10p charge.
( She asked me to "Let it go this time" ie, give it to her for nothing! )
Anyway, she returned with the correct money and stated that she was going to make an "Official Complaint", whatever that is...

Finally, she said, "I don't see why I should pay £1.10p for a birthday for my husband...from his ex-wife."

You can't make this stuff up.

Naw...the Mrs would kill me...dead!
And she wasn't an oil painting, unless you like Old Masters!

Trying to figure out what his FIRST wife looked like.
The mind boggles...

I hate taking money for birthday card or re-delivering them once the fee is paid
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

I put aside a little of my xmas tips, so if any of my customers get a birthday card type surcharge, I just pay it for them to avoid the embarrasment.

In the old days  ..the phg would just give you the birthday card to deliver and mark it up as not collected/RTS.
Changed days/business model.
