Had a woman come in to pay for an underpaid card. She wasn't happy that I couldn't change a £20 note for a £1.10p charge.
( She asked me to "Let it go this time" ie, give it to her for nothing! )
Anyway, she returned with the correct money and stated that she was going to make an "Official Complaint", whatever that is...
Finally, she said, "I don't see why I should pay £1.10p for a birthday for my husband...from his ex-wife."
You can't make this stuff up.

I hate taking money for birthday card or re-delivering them once the fee is paid

..the phg would just give you the birthday card to deliver and mark it up as not collected/RTS.

Ex wife and got the new one to pay the surchage on his birhday card. Quality
