south east offices going live ??

these offices in the south east were meant to go live on 8th or 15th november .....
ashford, tenterden, rye, new romany and i think next week battle , bexhill + one other any news from these delivery offices ???

I am in touch weekly with Hastings & St Leonards del offices so will let you know what goes on there, though I am in a Essex office,

I know St leonards is the feeder office for Battle/Hastings not sure what others are,

Only Office in the S/E to go live is Herne Bay next week 22nd

Rayleigh( SS Essex) Office went live this week and Our Lino had to go over today as they have been cutting off
She says they only had one walk taken out and cannot understand why they are cutting off

Heard Wickford (SS) going live next week, Hockley postponed till after xmas probably same as my office

Probably the same bright spark who thought that two sharing a van was going to be able to do two duties, two sets of parcels, specials and tracked, push a trolley through piles of dog sh1t, struggle like a bastard to get parked up and do half as much work again as before when really two feet walking up a path pushing a letter through a door takes exactly the same amount of time as before.

Weight off the shoulder...............that's a good thing, but trolleys?............I think the jury is well and truly out on that one,......smaller bags would have sufficed in quick tight loops . As for the HCTs..........the old ones stood up to the delivery better than the new ones............3 wheels have fallen off the new swivel ones in less than a fortnight.......and the braking system with the plunger instead of the old type lever system is crappy.

Don't give them ideas,the trolleys are the future,viva la trolleys!
