Excess flexability

Phoned our excess through this week and (new) lino asked if we might be finishing early on Saturday as this could knock some of our weeks excess off the total. Taken aback a bit but said we rarely finish early(true). I know about the 30mins flex in exceptional circumtances(if I agree)bit, but is he just trying it on ? I think that if I book, say,half hour excess on massive Monday then rest of weeks finishing times are irrelavant because Mondays excess was agreed OT and not 30mins flexing. With XmasExcess coming up I want to know that every minute of excess will be paid( I`d rather cut off and not bother than argue over it everyday). Cheers.

just tell him youll work the hours paid and if you get back early do some ips to your time , you shouldnt have to argue to get paid ot , just tell them to keep it and work to your time, and tell him to f***oFF.

Ask him to show you the part of the agreement that includes banking of hours.

Yep, If the banking of hours is a deffo nono I`ll have grievance form at the ready if he tries it - haven`t sent one off for a few months.
