Revisions and D2D's

Why are some of you not taking your D2D's due to the revisions going in and not working.
FFS demand you take them,it's live mail!

Plus it's more fun surely!

I suppose at the end of the day it's management that make the call on what live mail goes and what doesn't.

D2D ARE you having a bubble laugh, i leave my office may be 10.30 ish ,then its one full round, with my buddy !!! finish about 13.30 ish. Then its another full round, finish say , well cut off at 14.45 get back the office, sort things out for next day etc, quick brew then a collection, so stick your d2d up your trumper, cant finish normal post, never mind that rubbish.2000 houses = 2 full rounds.

But surely take them and cut off even more, after all they are live mail now, not taking them and getting more of your round done is hiding the problem in my opinion.

That all depends on the offical instructions received by the managers, if they say leave DTD in order to get more addressed mail delivered then thats what you do.

I'd be more worried about the packets being left behind if I were you. That's where the real money is, for RM. It's a major gowth market, that RM are completely ignoring. Which is something that will ultimately cost a lot of our jobs.

And yet another good reason for Royal Mail to reduce or stop the subsidy. It may not be linked to delivery of D2Ds, but they will be on to this like a ferret down a drain pipe if the D2Ds are not delivered.

isnt it fraud to take payment for dd and then tell your staff not to deliver it I wonder what these people would think if they
found out their advertising was sat under a frame in the delivery office

The D2D contract covers a full week.
We don't know for sure if any have failed their contract.

well even before the revision there was always s**t loads at the back of the office at the end of the week
and our section starts live monday so I think the pile is gonna get a lot higher

Well our manager (using the term loosely) has deemed that the D2D's are to take priority over packets, and when faced with the choice of packets or D2D's had gone for the D2D's.

It's probably the sensible choice.
The packets will definitely get delivered even if they are late.
Not so sure that the delayed D2D will ever get delivered though.
