Change Xmas duty times?
I haven't seen an LTB, but have been told that some of our duty times are going to be changed during Xmas. I start at 6:15 and finish a 14:15, I'm now being told that I am going to be moved along with others onto a 13:00 til 21:00 delivering packets, has anyone else's time been moved?

Offices have various local agreements during xmas which should be okayed by the rep.
But quite how they can change your hrs in such a big way is beyond me!
Wouldn't the normal practice be to ask for volunteers 1st?
Personally i would tell them bollox.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

They will be pressed to do this in time for Xmas if you are not a willing party, as I believe that you are entitled to a fair wedge of notice of any impending changes to your terms and conditions of employment.

I'm sure it's 28 days notice,has happened to me when i was on collections.
