blatent favourtism in the office
having worked for royal mail for a number of years now and i have never witnessed such blatent favourtism as i did this morning, now as all will know, we all need to dump our cars and ask for a bike to do our duties.which as many on here and in offices all over the british isles have done.[and good on you ] but when i ask my dom for a car i am told no.pitty, a nice little merc would of been great.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: blatent favourtism in the office
That has been " Arranged ", A DUM "won " a car in a draw , in the local "morale boosting!?' draw; a manager's son "won " the car , ticked Uncle Leighton's boxes , young, non-union etc . Nobody expected anything less !, the draw was like a vulture's feeding frenzy hosted by a wannabe game show host , full-timers booing AGs etc, not sure how morale was improved though? . The manager when frogmarched out of the building by the IB said he "collected " £1 coins and didn't have any change for the kebab shop so he used coins that had fallen from the mail !. The favoured son was deemed to be harassed so he got a temporary extra 15hrs @ a Outstation , the Union had gone too far pinning up Court Reports on the notice Board . Nothing to do with Double Standards , Neopotisim & Favourtisim of course, best practice is always followed and there has been no successful legal or medical challenges. B*****ks ! :lfomylegshurt wrote:having worked for royal mail for a number of years now and i have never witnessed such blatent favourtism as i did this morning, now as all will know, we all need to dump our cars and ask for a bike to do our duties.which as many on here and in offices all over the british isles have done.[and good on you ] but when i ask my dom for a car i am told no.pitty, a nice little merc would of been great.
