Had a meeting advice please

Hi Last week we had a meeting with ADR and ADM the revision offered up by RM was rejected, the ADM& and ADR said that we can input into the duty structure's which some postmen did.

Today we got called to a huddle and was basically told we had 20mins to either accept the revision as it stands without the alterations that was put by posties last week or accept another 3 walks to collapse and absorb

A few of us have decided that we should not accept the revision as we had already refused( been told they cannot get the new wings for another 6 weeks)

Wait for our dom to come off his cruise ,(in two weeks) then tackle him, or flatly refuse both , adm is saying it has to be done before xmas

Just wondered what your thoughts are?

To be fair M4E...they can collapse and lapse as many walks as they want...it's whether you guys have the time to do it...but i wouldn't touch a revision that had no input from the staff at all.

If you are going to be needing wings I would suggest the revision has not been clearly thought out.

It's just a threat to get you's all to accept it.
Ask them how many hours are they doing at Xmas to get the rest of the deliveries out.

One of our posties sent an e.mail to area CWU rep, this morning he rang the office to tell management that they was out of order by,not consulting them or us and trying to railroad something in, at the moment we stay as we are, till dom gets off his cruise , its a shame he does not get shipwrecked somewhere lol

I suspect the cash flow crisis is the reason many offices are reporting they are not getting their £600 at the time they are told.

I think it was said somewhere on here that all payments are having to be referred through the Finance Directors office for approval ?

Refuse and fight it tooth and nail do not co-operate with R/M and walk if you have to simples.

On the flip side accept it and watch it collapse then R/M will want your help putting it right but dont help them as they have said in the beginning its right so let them sort out there own mess.

Do you know what clash im sick to the back teeth of R/M and this chaotic managerial style we have to endure on a daily basis.

I think D/Os and a few reps who are not as strong as others need to grow a pair to many folk are intimidated by R/M.

I may be wrong but believe that Quality of service is not measured over christmas so RM managers can get away with giving the public an appalling service without it affecting their bonuses My old office is having a revision pushed through at the moment according to a mate of mine and thats what he told me
