Is this TRUE - Walk allocation

Hi Guys

Ive been on the same walk now for a little over 3 years and have just been told that once you've been on the same walk for 1 year or more ............. that walk becomes yours as part of the CWU rules and regulation policy and Royal Mail.

Is this TRUE ? and if not how long must I stay on this walk before it officially becomes mine.

(the walk was allocated to me by the DOM and I have never signed for it)

It's never yours...it's just a duty like all the rest....you don't get to take it home.
When your office gets it's revision it goes into the pot with the rest.
Look on the bright side...if nobody else wants it you might get it back...unless the revision makes it disappear.

As you never signed for the duty,it is not yours there is no rule regarding an allocated duty becoming yours after a period of time.

the walk is your after one year and if there have been no changes to your walk it does not have to go in the pot.

The one year rule is that once you have signed for a duty,you cannot apply for another duty until a year has passed.
