What is goin on with the union???? They go around ranting and raving how they have got us nearly £1000 if we implement these changes... Van sharing was supposed to trigger a £600 cut of the payment for Belfast posties and in came van sharing but not the payment.... Am I surprised that the union have carried another management lie to their members??? A big fat NO, not surprised at the least... As the old saying goes better the devil ya know, well the management is that. The cwu union is the real danger to our jobs, as they are the devil ya can't see with their sneaky deals etc.... If something ain't done we are gonna get a majority to join another union. This is a promise not a threat, the support is widespread to jump ship.

The 600 pound part of the agreement is for the deployment of the walk sequencing revision, not van sharing, did you not actually read the agreement before you voted?

Did anyone really expect anything else? Especially here in NI where MK does whatever he wants (same for Scotland), the revisions are being pushed through jut for savings and as long as he's hitting his targets (and getting his bonus) then it will never change, the payment will eventually come but probably after Christmas

If your revision has been screwed up as badly as ours then just claim all the OT and that will quickly add up to your £600.

We`ve had the CDV vans in for a week, repick done and everyone on new duties. Walk sequenced mail is due to hit our office 1st week in December. Anyone care to speculate/advise as to when we might see the £200-£600-£200?

Is that for the 1st £200, the £600, the £800 (£200 + £600) or the whole £1000? Our rep hasn`t even got a clue and he signed everything off.

Colleague Share payment currently valued at £563 paid in 2011 and final colleague share payment currently valued at £563 paid in 2012.

Pay increases Basic pay 1st April 2011 to £359 + Delivery supplement £20.88 = gross pay £379.88 (39 hrs)
Pay increase Basic pay 1st April 2012 to £371 + Delivery supplement £21.61 = gross pay £392.60 (39 hrs)

Compared to what is going on outside RM not a bad pay deal.

The problem is what we are being asked to do to get it.

5 weeks after, due to director clearence?? thats not part of the agreement!
What does this reffer to Tamsky the £600 or the £200.

Transformation Lump Sum Payments and Shorter Working Week

Delivery
Applicable to all Delivery Units including SPDO’s.

Lump Sums
The payment of £1,000 (pro rata for part time employees) consisting of 3 lump sums will be paid as follows.

£200 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit on deployment of their first non walk sequencing revision.
£600 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit on deployment of the walk sequencing revision.
£200 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit when the Walk Sequencing revision has been implemented, and objectives achieved in line with the local agreement and no later than the end of the 6 week bedding in period.

I was told this week by a CDSM that the bonus payments will take between 3-6 weeks, this will be one of the key reasons that i will be continuing to say NO on behalf of my members!!

TBH I think the union has let us down badly this time and unless there is a change in leadership we should all leave the union .

To what other union I cant not answer, don't get me wrong the CWU have done some good over the years and without those achievements our pay and conditions would be a lot worse.

Without us the CWU can not survive but at present they choose to ignore its members they are supposed to have a vetted interest in.

Are they not aware of the chaos that's being caused by the revision across the land recently implemented or do they not care.

I am now convinced Billy Hayes and Dingo Dave Ward know exactly what the future plans of R/M are and have known since this agreement was corruptly voted in.

If they didnt know why do they stand by and accept what R/M are doing at present with out fighting for us.

Sold down the river the cwu is dead I havnt spoken to one member who has a good word to say about the cwu, is this the reason Billy and Dave have vanished

I have plenty of good words to say about the CWU, although most will be in relation to past deeds and actions by Area Reps who have been a massive help to me both as a OPG and as a local rep.
