I have been keeping my end up for Royal Mail now for 17 years.In that time all the senior men had all the tricks up there sleeves if they were upset by a customer.After reading ome things on here about what customers have done to annoy us,it made me think about what the old lads always used to say.Never f**k with the postie.

To be honest ive never been that bothered to interfere with the mail because a customer has upset me but over the years i do know this has happened and it really can mess people up in a big way

I admit that when I first started it was tempting to 'do something' in pure frustration..... I am just following RM rules why are you abusing me I VERY quickly realised that it just wasn't worth it. If I lost my job who'd won? I grew a thick skin and began to realise that there were occasions when these people needed me to do them a favour i.e. important letter coming can you deliver it before I go out at 11am?... well let me see!

It probably isn't wise to get on the wrong side of a guy who knows where you live, knows the name of you and your family, where you work, bank and get your gas, electricity and water, shopping habbits, hobbies...
