Please enlighten us on how many hrs you're contracted for.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

£137 is like pocket money, I earned £650 this week.............................they only paid me £200 though :chuckle

Mate of mine got made redundant,managed to get a job in Tescos on a 30hr contract.
Ok not good but 30hrs in a warm (unless you work on the chilled section) building or the s**t our part timers have to put up with i know what i would go for.
Food (Pardon the pun) for thought for some of you part timers.

tesco pay just above minimum wage, new employees have statutary sick pay,usdaw the shopworkers union don,t have a lot of influence, tesco managers don,t take prisoners,sunday work time + 1/2. and thats if you get in,my sons shop has just laid off all short term contracts. and tesco,s are percieved to be best employers in retail.postman/woman have fought for good terms + conditions over many years, i think we will come to realise what we had over the coming years

No but B&Q have a 20% discount card... although I know that they're not really taking on at the moment because they're looking to get rid of staff too.

discount card or £8.88 an hour plus 6 month'sfull sick pay. its your choice
