My day off and my royal mail christmas card has just hit the mat
Its not a bad one this year with good old Gromit posting a stack of christmas cards and looking like his going to get a snowball in the face by that pesky penquin
Anyway there are 50 Gromit first class stamps inside and a standard "Thank You" message from Donald and Moya.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

I havent had mine yet but then again i havent had any post at all yet and it 2.45pm, did you get the traditional 50 first class stamps also?
thouight it was more shite from HR aboutr my sickness periods,was pleasently surprised........................i thought they would have been a bit more honest with the latest posting dates,with 99% of the revisions going tits up,last posting day :30th nov,excluding packets,cos you have no chance,for overseas :last week,merry xmas

No the 50 Gromit feature 1st class stamps is all you get

Standard Thanks for breaking our backs for even less pay than last year even with the amount of money they're saving surely 100 would've been nice... Well i'll take the stamps but the card will be send back with a REFUSED sticker on it.

I'm still using the stamps I got 3 years ago I'm too knackered to write to anyone when I get home and most of my friends & family have probably moved or died because I'm too knackered to visit them.
BTW Not had this years yet.

I use all my stamps in correspondence with HMRC. I think they're utterly useless. Not a week goes by without me receiving a new tax reference number (why the old one cannot suffice, I've no idea). Today they've written to me giving me a new tax code, having only given me the old one two months back. Does anyone know what the difference is between 659L and 647L? 'Cause now I'm on the former and I've no idea why. I know the numbers roughly relate to your tax-free allowance (add a 0), but have no understanding as to why mine has changed.
Anyways, this is all beside the point. I WANT MY STAMPS, I NEED MY STAMPS.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. Never knew we were supposed to wash them, still only worked for Royal Mail for ten (10) years so it does'nt really need washed yet.

You can get into trouble if you sell them. If I'm still here in another couple of years I may have enough to decorate a wall
