I do not want to go into specifics but do Royal Mail have to abide by ATOS's recommendations for a return to work?

(Reduced round/hours basically)

Or can RM force a postman back to normal duties.
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

ATOS recommendations are only advice and management don't have to take that advice apparently. Whats the point eh :arrrghhh

At my place,what is recommended goes,they know better than to try to have us over.
While i realise Stormproof has had hers ignored,it aint right.
You are sent to ATOS to get a back to work plan,end off!

If they try to have you over go to your ADR,if no joy there go higher.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Correct and if your managers are like mine they keep send you back to Atos hoping that they will get one of their quacks to right a reprt that they want to hear.
I'm currently waiting for Atossers to send me for a face to face for the 5th time.What a feckin joke these lot are. :roll:

Yep I got re-referred because apparently the ATOS report was too 'vague'. Whilst I was waiting my GP signed me off anyway because she said they probably would'nt take any notice of what was written on a Fit Note and my injury would more than likely get worse. Going to go through it all again when I go back because I know my leg muscles are knackered for a while and not strong enough for delivery or stairs.
