i predict sooner or later, as deliveries get later and later ..that a post person will be badly injured or killed by some irate customer ..who goes mental, that we are delivering at 4,5,and 6 in the afternoon .( when this revision kicks in )..this is just my assumption gathered from comments by aggressive people i have had while posting..in the early afternoon aorund 2 and 3pm .i get the impression they think they own us

Any irate customer who seriously injures or kills a postie won't do it because of the time we deliver the post, it will be because they have underlying mental health issues.
More likely posties will (continue to) suffer muscular and skeletal injuries because they don't take seriously the long-term effects of ignoring their own Health and Safety regulations. (Probably because they have underlying mental health issues)

Amazes me that so many posties are still over loading bags and trollies . There is a matrix for bags but is always ignored in the hunt for the elusive few minutes that may be made on the end. Crazy. How many retired postpersons do you know who complain of bad backs, necks and knees? When will people learnto chill and do the job properly.

Sorry I have to disagree, for the vast majority of people if they don't get their mail before they go to work then they don't give a hoot if it turns up at 1,2,3,4,5pm as long as its there when they come back from work. Also for anyone to get so worked up that they end up killing someone over it has more problems than just mail!

Same here and I always say yup its second delivery... they go away all happy rather than me getting a mouthful for being a lazy and working to slowly or maybe the other jewel that us posties spend too much time 'feevin' to do our deliveries.

That's funny, that is the same bullshit I got back from the Dom when I first showed my concern about moving our start times to an hour later,he never meets the irate pensioners,at home mothers/fathers,businesses etc etc etc who complain about their male being late .

Wah hey one moment I'm not agreeing with your DOM! I've met and had to deal with lots of irate people who are at home when mail is delivered later than usual. What I'm saying is that the MAJORITY of people don't care (which they don't) and because of that RM will push this through. Do I agree no but as my DOM says thats coz you want to go home early.
