The job is great especially as I only work 2 days now. :Very Happy Long weekend every week.

So do I... I'd get my job done a lot quicker if I didn't keep stopping to stroke every cat/dog I see.

I have to do old peoples shopping and i also talk to cats,good job i've got time to do it...
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I don't talk to cats, but I do listen to them. I've also been shopping for old people, but they don't sell them down here. Must be a London thing.

Don't care about it one jot. Had some time off this week, realised that I wouldn't care if I was sacked (though I'd obv. prefer not to be). Got enough money saved up not to bother. Have just taken up climbing/mountaineering so would love to go out, do some travelling, spend a year out of work. That's pretty much what I intend to do at some point in the next year, so I'm not too bothered about this job at all.

oh its brill . piles of mail waiting every day when i get in. bags of pkts to sort thru ..d2ds to put together ...5 rammed bags every day ..sore back ...never get 20 min break im supposed to as a part timer ..cheated on extended nearly every week ...being greeted by friendly pit bulls ...customers bitching about me being late .getting hassled cos i have delivered a drivers card (my reply) , its a drivers card ..(customers reply) ,but i was in ,..(reply i would like to give) >> well what the f**k can i do about that ..im just delivering the bolloxing card )..and paying union dues as well ..for the joy of doing all this that the blessed cwu has brought about..

I love this job, I get up 4 hours before I go to bed, then I'm force fed COLD poison by management, then I'm made to do a 29 hour duty and after that I'm beaten to death by my DOM and then given a stage for being dead..................all this and I still look forward to the next dy at work :crazy: :nervous

Monty Python has a lot to answer for. :wink:
